My instance was down yesterday as I took a crash course on maintaining (read: breaking and troubleshooting) a Mastodon server, so here it is, better late than never!!! Mooncat tries to climb a fence, gets nervous, and awkwardly slides down onto a plant. ❤️ (Created with Kdenlive!)

Hello! I am a product/project manager in software development. I'm interested in FOSS, science fiction, playing piano, making music on FL Studio, and hiking. También aprendiendo español. I set up this server to learn more about self-hosting and the fediverse. I want to learn more about mesh. I'm also learning about web development.

This is Mooncat! She loves (in no particular order): snuggling, playing, sleeping, chasing birds and butterflies, and Churu treats. She dislikes: alone time, closed doors, wet food. She's also a #shouldercat! I believe she's part Bombay, although that's only a guess as I adopted her from a shelter and she did not come with much background info.

This is great! Maybe I can channel some of my favorite singers next time I play.
This is my band Jinxland performing in #SomervilleMA at #WarehouseXI last year!
I made this using #FLStudio after a friend asked me how to make dubstep, and I did not know the answer. I used 3XOscillators to make all of the instruments, and used LFOs applied to filters to produce the characteristic "wub" sounds.
