These kind of "survivor" games (you can't make me call them bullet hell or even "bullet heaven") are good for a rush of dopamine and the feeling of gradually becoming a god of destruction. But these games are very much the opposite of "hardcore" game design and if you want gameplay that is very engaging, look elsewhere.
