Squirrels keep triggering one of the security cameras. It just recently started happening, tho the areas has been lousy with squirrels for a good while. They are getting bigger though, maybe they have reached some threshhold. Or maybe some algorithm has changed.
Phone kept nagging me to upgrade to Android 17 so I did. First thing it showed me was a list of things to check out. Somehow I hit the wrong button and that disappeared without a trace (like how to get back to it).
Woken up by hot water pouring onto my chest and lap, from dozing off while drinking coffee and playing a puzzle on the tablet. This kind of thing is, sadly, not uncommon. It goes with constant lack of sleep and old age clutziness.
Lovely quiet 5pm on the porch. I wonder how long the stillness will last. I fear Friday evening neighborhood mowing sessions loom.
The classical radio station today, while I was in my car on an errand, played an orchestral "Legend of Zelda" which I only knew from the descriptive text that they broadcast.

"Round and Round" from The Fantasticks got into my head after I watched Moonlight yesterday. Probably not an appropriate connection at all, but the mind is a strange place. Mine is, anyway.
I wonder what I should replace icinga with. I had kept an ancient server alive only to keep running old icinga as icinga 2 repelled me(*), but I didn't think about it much and now that server has gone bye-bye.
(*)some flaw in me, doubtless.
window-swap (.com) -- look out somebody elses window somewhere in the world, maybe share your own. Kind of a window roulette. Interesting, but I wonder if it will have some of the same chatroulette problems.
e.g., sometimes I see a reflection of the person who is holding the camera at the window. Careful with that ...
