hi my friend made an entire fucking DAW after 5 years of keeping it secret, and it's free forever!
you don't want to miss it! the programming that went into it is genuinely unbelievable!
please share her work with your musician friends, she really needs (and deserves) the support!

my friend is currently in a tough situation and her livelihood is in danger
she makes FOSS audio software for musicians everywhere that is higher quality and more unique than anything else i've seen
her current project is the most innovative thing i have used ever since i started making music, it will overhaul everything from the way you think about plugins and DAWs and is replacing standards such as MIDI which lack any serious microtonal capabilities. you will have easy access to infinite notes for just intonation! i can't tell you more about it, but you'll hear about it from her sometime this year!

making cool free shit for people is all she wants to do, monetizing anything grosses her out even if she's financially struggling
by donating you're ensuring her software is still accessible to as much people as possible, and more importantly you're helping keep her alive

Replying to
@Willow@social.translunar.academy not for the foreseeable future, maintaining and managing a public codebase is not really something she's able to do at the moment! most of the things in septabee are things she invented herself and would be difficult for other people to contribute to, including (but not limited to) a programming language specifically made for septabee
she's more than happy to take up bug reports and suggestions for any features tho, and maybe when the project is mature enough and is in less of a critical spot she'll open source it
