@da_667@infosec.exchange In the Army, it was common knowledge that in the barracks, a sniffle spreads like the plague and there was a higher rate of respiratory infections. Similar occurrence in college dorms. Hell we all come back from Defcon with "conference crud." Now multiply the head count and trap me in a box out in the ocean? Hard pass. It's like a McDonald's ball pit but for adults.

I've spent most of my time on mastodon trying to rebuild my bird-world that I didn't realize how good my my feed already was. I need to grab a coffee and just enjoy it.
With everything going on in the world, I didn't think anything could surprise me. I absolutely did NOT have Raspberry Pi drama on my 2022 bingo card though. Lol.

I'll take the manufacturing craziness any day. Something from a company that no longer exists installed by an EE long gone not being able to be patched is way more credible than the argument that it's okay because it's"compliant."
