This was a fun one to build. We wanted to do something that will feel natural in GUI as well as in cli/text environments.

To put a finer point on it, I really don't know if @aphera@mastodon.social would exist in its current form, and at least wouldn't work as well as it does without @pointfreeco@hachyderm.io SQLiteData.

A fun side effect of integrating undo at the db level is we moved things like selection and navigation to the db as well. That allowed us to fully connect editing operations and view state in one unified model, a big part of a making the whole app feel like a single stack that you can move through and undo.
Props to apps that pull this off, we took a lot of inspiration from Linear's navigation and undo model.

Ha just two days ago I figured this out to include keyboard shortcuts consistently in @aphera@mastodon.social tooltips.

@nazhamid @mez @aphera Great question! I’ll add a bit more context. You can see in the first screenshot we had a "Not Flagged" category with exactly this thought about being completionist. Over time we found the focus on moving forward in culling (Starred) more important, and moved the "no stars" feature to the Filter where it can be used in any view.
A excellent demo! Once you start looking, LR tends to lose saturation in the shadows and skin tones, leading to a muddy, lifeless feeling.
