All AIs reproduce the biaises of their society => western society is deeply, violently anti-Palestinian => most AIs are deeply, violently anti-Palestinian
Standing Together activists disrupt a live broadcast of Big Brother in Israel, wearing “Leave Gaza” shirts and calling for an end to the genocide and against Netanyahu’s plan for permanent occupation of Gaza.
Standing Together started as a vague pro peace movement that refused to name apartheid. It's been good to see them become more radical and force other Israelis to face the genocide they're perpetrating.
Israeli police detained a Jewish man for wearing a kippa with the Israeli and Palestinian flags, then took the kippa and cut out the Palestinian flag.
Because Judaism is part of the Zionist story, but the main thing is hyper-nationalism and colonialism. Repressing and erasing Palestinian identity always takes precedence over the respect for Jewish rituals and religion.
There's no such thing as "defensive weaponry". The Iron Dome means Israel is shielded from responses to its attacks and is embolded to bomb right and left without consequences. Any reasonable ban on weapons sales must include the Iron Dome
“Gaza is also ours. We’re just letting them stay there as guests until a certain point, but Gaza is ours.”
Not exactly surprising, coming from an overt Jewish supremacist, but it's always better for them to say these things openly and explicitly so nobody can pretend we didn't know.
The Bush administration took 2 years to go from "Saddam has weapons of mass destructions" to "Saddam supports Al-Qaeda" to "Iraq needs democracy". They never admitted it was about the oil.
Within 2 months, Trump went from "Maduro sends fethanyl to the US" to "Venezuela needs democracy" to "we're taking over for the oil".
If there's one thing we can't take away from him, it's that he doesn't bother with the pretense.
Can't think of something more obvious to say but hey, there is at least one person in Israel who came up with it, better than zero
Israeli children, likely belonging to communities of settlers and religious-messianic Jews, having fun destroying aid supplies meant for Gaza.
Useful context is that one of the most common one-liners I hear from Israelis, to this day, is: "the conflict will end when they stop teaching their children to hate us".
Love to hear Jewish leaders take stock of the genocide and reassess their relationship with Israel... or wait, they mean stopping to support unions fighting for higher minimum wages or civil rights orgs 🤦🏻
A regular Saturday in the West Bank: Jewish terror and ethnic cleansing
Disagreeing with the logic or strategy of BDS is fine, but it's always too obvious these critics have no understanding of the boycott: we don't claim that all Israelis as monsters, we simply know that Israeli academia is actively complicit in apartheid, and therefore should not be engaged with.

Germany keeps its spot on the podium of the states who are most responsible in the destruction of the Palestinian people
We can never say it enough:
"Real political solidarity, it's learning to fight oppression that we aren't subjected to ourselves"--bell hooks
For Palestinian Prisoners' day, TINAU published a zine of Arabic protest chants with Hebrew and English translation and transliteration. If you're a student of Arabic or just curious, check it out!
In Gabriel Zucman's excellent historical background of Trump's overthrow of Maduro: "in 1957, US oil companies generated as much profit in Venezuela as all US companies across all industries in all Latin American and European countries combined"
