There is a "post your favorite movie from the year you turned 18" thread going on, and holy crap, I'd have to choose from among:
Blade Runner
The Thing
Wrath of Kahn
Conan the Barbarian
Dark Crystal
Last Unicorn
Urgh! A Music War
Unpossible. Truly I came of age in a time of legend!

@juergen_hubert@mementomori.social I recommend the Basque folklore inspired movies of Paul Urkijo! Errementari, Irati, and I expect great things of his latest Gaua
While enjoying the great movies at the #SIFF2026 festival, it's important to know that SIFF Cinema Workers Union needs our support — the future of #SIFF depends on a fair deal for the people that keep it going year round! https://www.thestranger.com/film/siff-cinema-workers-union-still-want-a-fair-contract/
