Bookworm, sandwritter, graphic designer, musician but above all, just another human animal fascinated and intrigued by being alive.
I refuse youtube, facebook, instagram, tik tok, amazon, google, whatsapp, adobe, a.i. or any other slave media platform. This makes my choices rewarding and surprises inevitable.
i have written a book called humble. a graphic meditation about life:

@Beggarmidas@mastodon.social @nilz@norden.social @tante@tldr.nettime.org tech bros are in the business of digital slave trading...nothing new there. on the other hand, "AI" is a marketing term, not a serious scientific one. to mistake it for progress is one of the greatest achievements of big tech propaganda...

@bagder@mastodon.social id say coding may have some predictive aspects but fundamentally it requires reasoning... which is entirely absent from LLMs. while LLMs may be useful to test patterns one must always know what one is asking for and how to debug the bugs (as i interpret the original post). hallucinations is the wrong, albeit marketable, term. hallucinations imply awareness which is also absent from these predictive calculators or text extruding machines.

@tante@tldr.nettime.org in my case "asked [insert llm here]" is a quick way to loose credibility. also... "google" is a company, not a verb (being so is just marketing), the action has always been "search". i have not used google search in years... my 2 cents
