@ACM@mastodon.acm.org Interesting move considering the recent opinion piece: Wither ACM? Publish or Perish? https://dl.acm.org/doi/10.1145/3815435 I guess the author of that article is right in suggesting that ACM really is just a publishing house now and doesn't really represent a society of professionals.

After listening to this week's @ubuntusecurity@fosstodon.org podcast, I decided to install unattended-upgrades on my #ubuntu servers...

Apparently, it is suppose to be setup by default, but only my recent laptop and desktop installs had it enabled (and not my older servers).

Not sure if it matters though, since I still manually update every day... a habit from my #archlinux days :P

Side note: the episode highlighted all the testing involved with #ubuntu updates, which is really great to hear about.
