@tshepang rust-lang/rust's compiletest also does snapshot testing! It's the main way the compiler is tested, but it uses a custom implementation predating insta.
I don't think it'd be worth replacing that code with insta, as compiletest has a lot of small features tailored to the compiler itself. But if you wanted to create something similar for your own project, insta would definitely be helpful!

Thinking about it, I don't recall any recent project of mine where I didn't at least consider pulling in https://insta.rs. It's just so good.
