I (@grimmy@mastodon.social) am going to state this as clearly as possible here in the hopes it'll propagate quickly. #Pidgin, and the other projects we maintain alongside it, have never and will never knowingly accept AI-assisted anything. We proudly respect all licenses, #OpenSource and proprietary, and will not taint our license with whatever you think AI-generated code is licensed under. A more formal document is now in the works in the hopes that our precious volunteer time will be spared. #FuckAI
