DAB+ radio is definitely a massive improvement over analog quality-wise. Thanks to the multiplex, I can now receive my favorite stations in my far countryside :)

There's a massive drawback though: as soon attenuation gets a bit too high, playback just stop and then resume instead of the nice analog degradation. When driving around some hills or any kind of relief, it tend to happen quite a lot.

There's no duplex connection, so no playback: no easy way to implement a buffered lecture for radio manufacturers.

So, in the end, the best way to listen to radio in the countryside is still via your phone over LTE.

All that money sunk in DAB+ emitter/receivers for people living in the countryside/mountains seems to be pointless.

I'm learning a new ergol keymap these days. I'm still too slow using it, it's bothering me on my day to day tasks.

But I'm trying to spend at least 2h every day to make some progress.

I just had a terrifying experience: I was frustrated with the typing speed, I moved back to my old keymap, then… …I blanked, I was unable to type with the old keymap 😱 😱

A 2 minutes pause fixed the brain freeze.

Muscle memory is a weird thing.

I received and soldered my new #quacken keyboard :)

First time I'm using a small keyboard with modifier. The shape is drastically different from my kinesis/glove80 I used for the last 10 years.

On top of that, I'm switching bepo->ergol cold turkey.

My brain is on fire 🤣
