@ChrisMayLA6@zirk.us Tesco like all supermarkets has deployed self service on the shop floor...and they don't pay me to do the job of a checkout operator ‼️and no reduction in prices either...so we always use click and collect as that provides paid employment

@semele@mastodon.social ...ok, the paradox is in what constitutes a straight line! Birds have long known the earth is a sphere; gravity and rotation of mother earth and wind all conspire to be curved. The average Bewick's swan flying from Serbia to Slimbridge knew instinctively all the maths of vectors and curves long before Newton and Einstein :)
