#Farage promises much but delivers virtually nothing. During his tenure as an MEP he attending only 63.1% of plenary meetings. This was the worst record in the EU, frankly a dereliction of duty for those who voted for him. His record is just as bad in the UK Parliament. As one who has always been a critical friend of the Green Party the #Denton by election came as a shock. I have many #Green friends whos concerns for the environment are laudable. This new Green Party however worries me. The weaponisation of division is upsetting, and hits a new low level. Pictures of foreign heads of state may please some people, but shouldn't have a place in a greater Manchester election. A Party with a policy to outlaw private landlords, then uses someone with a substantial property portfolio as a candidate!! We need to unite people, not divide them.
