Remembering the late Jon Pertwee, the brilliant Third Doctor, on his birthday. The 3rd Doctor's stories and his time with UNIT was one of my favourite eras of classic WHO! #DoctorWho

21 years ago #OTD the Daleks were introduced to a whole new generation when the Doctor Who episode 'Dalek' first aired on 30th April 2005. It's a fantastic story and a landmark event in Doctor Who’s triumphant return to TV. #DoctorWho

@AndorianSoup Nice one, looks great! Like the stormtrooper & Dewback as well, just looks like its wandering past all the action!
The Keeper of Traken was first broadcast 45 years ago OTD in 1981. Tom Baker’s penultimate story as the 4th Doctor introduces Nyssa, impressively brings Traken to life despite it's nature as a studio-bound story, and also sees the return of the Master as well! #DoctorWho
The Silurians originally aired 56 years ago OTD in 1970. This compelling 3rd Doctor story from Jon Pertwee’s first season introduced The Silurians, who ruled Earth before humans, and upon their awakening the Doctor must strive to broker a peaceful outcome. #DoctorWho
The Seeds of Doom first aired 50 years ago OTD in 1976. This exciting 6 parter is a great mash-up of The Thing From Another World and Day of the Triffids, and it’s one of my favourite 4th Doctor (Tom Baker) stories as well! #DoctorWho
