If you get followed by @olivvybee@fedi.beehive.gay don’t panic! I’m playing around with running my own instance
Why yes I do have 73 tabs open on my phone right now
And yes, they do auto-close after a week, so this is only a week’s worth

This is of course the canonical reason why my pronouns are they/she
Something that’s not obvious to me: if you do an account migration from @me@instance.com to @me@anotherinstance.com, can you ever recover the original at instance.com or is it permanently locked into redirection purgatory?
The reason I’m not fully migrating my account to beehive.gay is because I’m not 100% I’m going to keep it around
I have a feeling there are going to be downsides to having a tiny personal instance that I haven’t even considered yet
@ShadowJonathan@tech.lgbt as super duper
techperson is there a reason tech.lgbt would be blocking fedi.beehive.gay, or is it just so new that it hasn't reached here yet? Although I did see some 401s from tech.lgbt in the sidekiq queue

@ShadowJonathan@tech.lgbt It’s using fedi.monster for hosting so I was kinda hoping everything would magically just work 😅 I will keep an eye on it and see if it perks up
