@rasterweb@mastodon.social I’ve been thinking about this a lot the past few days, that people accept things because they think they’re powerless as an individual against a big corporation or government. It’s crazy to me how the internet made it easier for people to network, but it’s rarely used to unite people to push to make the world better, even for things that the vast majority agree should happen. Instead, it’s used for memes and harassment. (1/2)

@Cykelero Even in a tiny thumbnail on my phone, I recognized that wallpaper instantly

Has the progress of humanity (less disease, poverty, war, etc.) all been because of the tiny minority of people who actually try to make the world better? What would happen if even half of people actually tried? (2/2)

@dschaub@mstdn.social @siracusa@mastodon.social If the average slope from 1984 to 2012 had continued, what amount of RAM would the iMac have in 2024?

@appstories@mastodon.macstories.net @viticci@mastodon.macstories.net I’m not an AppStories+ subscriber, so it’s totally fine that I didn’t get this week’s episode. 👍🏻

@danirabbit@mastodon.online This is very surprising to me because I thought it was a requirement to finish elementary before starting high school. This is a joke, and I’d like to apologize to you for making this joke.

@JPEGuin@mastodon.social What’s the difference between “Remove from Watching” and “Stop Watching”?

@JPEGuin@mastodon.social Syncing Binge with Trakt has duplicated every TV episode watch status with Trakt. Now, for every episode (over 6,000) I’ve ever seen, it also says I watched it exactly when it was released. I need a way to undo this, without deleting 6,000 items one by one.
