I hardly think this needs saying but engagement baiters, who profit off of posting incendiary tweets that make people angry or distressed, will all go to Hell.

Literally every part of your 10-day challenge is more realistic than what you start with on day 1. Changing messsaging apps to open source alternatives is completely unworkable for 99% of people and you shouldn't even entertain it as a serious option.
I grew up in the early 00s and late 90s just after a war so I suppose I always naively expected that over time the world would get less cruel. How wrong I was, compared to what’s going on now, my childhood was a picnic.
#Blogging is ridiculously fragmented in 2026. A WriteFreely blog is incompatible with Substack is incompatible with Ghost is incompatible with Squarespace.
Back in 2009, whether you used Blogger or LiveJournal or whatever else you could easily follow posts with RSS and comment anywhere though OpenID. Now both OpenID and RSS are practically dead so that we can have these walled gardens and silos.
