mastodon 4.5.18having fun with livecoding, analog video, VJing and electronics 🐀 based in Rotterdam
Hi lovely ppl I guess it’s time for my #introduction 😎
I’m Niki also known as Nikilia, from the Netherlands and based in Rotterdam. (we do a livecode meetup here every month!)
Until now i’ve mainly focused on making live visuals using Hydra and some p5 and touchdesigner, but visiting ICLC in Barcelona last week really inspired me to start learning how to livecode music ! Can’t wait to go even deeper into the wonderful world of livecoding :))
I want to address this pet peeve of mine that I only found out how to solve recently and saw many ppl guilty of at @incolico@assemblag.es
if you have a macbook and do any sort of livecoding, visuals or keynotes PLEASE turn off the lil green/orange privacy dots in your external screen 😩 i beg you i get distracted haha
teaching kids how to code: sometimes they leave cute stuff :)
We have another live coding community meetup at V2 in Rotterdam tonight! everyone welcome, bring your laptop 💻
special edition because it’s ON A FRIDAY
