Native Plants

Hi All. I just moved from mstdn.ca and I'm glad to be part of cosocial.ca, as I was looking for a Canadian-run instance.

I'm interested in native plants and plenty of other nature- and environment-related topics like wildlife, pollinator habitat, bike paths, and reducing waste.

My neighbourhood group Bendale Butterflyway is a cool bunch of people who take care of a community pollinator garden in Toronto. We planted a rain garden last year, which I'll talk more about soon.

Happy 90th Birthday to David Suzuki! Thank you for decades of protecting our environment.

I saw David Suzuki speak in person at "What You Won't Do for Love" at the Harbourfront Centre a few days ago, and it was truly uplifting. I got my books signed too, which was super special.
