Turns out the TV show Knight Rider's fiction wasn't that a billionaire would create an AI-powered, self-driving car and recruit an ex-cop to partner with it.
The real fiction was that they'd use their tech and power to help people.
"Maybe that thing is finally dead," I said to myself yesterday as I hacked through the jungle of invasive shrubs that encroach along my fence line. It's a youngish mulberry that had nothing green on it. Today? Full leaves and stringy seedpods. In less than 24 hours. That is some sinister shit.
