We are a local hosting provider giving Mudgee businesses a global presence.
I think I’m going to deploy #searxng instead of #searx.
Searx hasn’t had a release for 15 months
SearxNG is noticeably slicker looking. https://search.ononoki.org/
I had issues with filtron (no ipv6 support!!! :-/) searxng seems to be getting rid of that which is good.
@flan@liber.chocoflan.net I could I guess, all depends on the search volume
@flan@liber.chocoflan.net
Now running searxng https://sx.mudgee.host/
Much better!
Should I open my instance up to anyone?
@zkat@toot.cat
only one domain?
@thunderbird@mastodon.online
Anything that enables carddav and caldav.
the internet is slowly but surely coming under the control of a handful of billionaires.
Went for Mastodon as it had good community already and suited my ethos: open source, decentralised, self hosted.
