I'm #hiring a Principal Software Engineer for the Web Team at Raspberry Pi. A hands-on, individual contributor role. You'd set technical direction, do code review and pairing, and ship code every week. Mostly Rails, Hotwire and Tailwind CSS with PostgreSQL, plus some React and Go (for Raspberry Pi Connect). Permanent, full-time, in our Cambridge office. Direct applications only, no recruiters please. Full spec and how to apply: https://apply.workable.com/raspberrypi/j/4C389130B2 Closes Wednesday 15 July. #rubyjobs

‘Tis also the season to appreciate @flavorjones@ruby.social’ and @larskanis@ruby.social’ work on rake-compiler-dock. While many of us are taking a break, their efforts means we can get native gems ready for the next version of Ruby on Christmas Day.

Replying to

@flavorjones@ruby.social @larskanis@ruby.social it’s (quite literally) the least I can do. My heart goes out to you seeing the likes of https://github.com/rake-compiler/rake-compiler-dock/pull/179
