#introduction

I'm a software engineer who builds and maintains one of the components which powers Mastodon: @sidekiq@ruby.social

Outside of work, I'm mostly concerned about our democracy, environment and climate change. I'm a massive fan of two wheels and own multiple #ebikes and an e-motorcycle. I spend my time advocating for safer streets and denser #housing. #bancars

I'm an investor in https://bikeportland.org.

I also love my wife, boy, cat and #dadjokes.

When your #cat is your coworker. #cats

I wonder how many people realize how cheap EVs can be to run.

My Telsa Y costs $5 to fully charge and go 300 miles (at 6c/kw).

Five dollars to "fill the tank". I just shake my head when I hear people talk about $100/tank.

What do you call 100 rabbits running backwards?

A receding hare line.

I want to move servers but the desired server (urbanists.social) doesn’t seem to be running Mastodon with the account move feature. 😭 I can’t determine what software it is running.

@wood@qoto.org So did Twitter 2007. The only question is whether the org can scale with Eugen doing a huge amount of the work himself.
