Got out for some splitboarding last Saturday en route to Steamboat Prow. Didnt quite make it to our destination but found some amazing views along the way! Heres a few turns on the way down before reaching camp. Mountain joys were found up here!

Found some new views of Tahoma to share! This side of Mt Rainier National Park is rarely visited, we saw old tracks but had the mountain to ourselves on Saturday. Looking up from 7000ft/2134m this view is only half way to the top summit around 14,410ft/4392m. We were glad to be 100% done on our 50% summit. More stories ahead...

Spotted this charred tree in the wild. Im assuming these burnt scars are from a lightning strike? Pretty amazing! The tree branches above looked quite healthy.

Sometimes you cant see the mountain, but you know it's there. Just like in life you don't always know whats to come, but can sense you must go on. As Im moving into an unknown for which I cannot see... maybe someone needs to hear this quote today as much as me.
