I miss club penguin end of the world youtube videos with text written in notepad, old-style YouTube popups with dialogue, and all the comments asking for the music being answered with Darude - Sandstorm.

I like tech, art, science and most other areas of interest. Software engineer and (maybe?) artist. Love GameDev and PSX/Low Poly aesthetics.
I love FOSS and the idealized decentralized, user-centric nostalgia of the web.

I occasionally post about politics, always with CWs, usually whenever something happens that makes me upset.

Have two other accounts at @MothWaves@mastodon.gamedev.place@mk.absturztau.be for videogame stuff (barely used), and another personal account for Akkoma at @mothwaves@void.lgbt@mk.absturztau.be
Still sort of figuring out how I want to use the accounts

@lizzy@social.vlhl.dev @FritzAdalis@infosec.exchange @MaddieM4@raphus.social@mk.absturztau.be real world technology (especially something like the IP specifications) being an SCP story is such a good idea.

@lizzy@social.vlhl.dev @FritzAdalis@infosec.exchange ooh, even they don't I would make it and try to post it and if they don't appreciate it I'd post it on some other personal platform (i.e website)

@brie@do.crimes.brie.gay Ahh yeah, I planned (and still plan) on circumventing that issue by making my project a plugin for (neo)vim/emacs.

@humanhorseshoes@mastodon.world @SylvieLorxu@chaos.social I mean yeah, that's what we've been seeing for some time now 🙁. It's not surprising when you consider that the same issues that gave rise to fascism in the first place still plague the EU.
A little late to this but I did the soul test! Not entirely what I was expecting but don't think it's at all innaccurate. Preseverance and Integrity have always been my favorite traits though, and I would have hoped they'd be a bit higher. But yeah, can't complain. This seems about right. Also I'm happy to have kindness and bravery as the highest.

@humanhorseshoes@mastodon.world @SylvieLorxu@chaos.social I think they've been trying this for a long time. I mean we know this is a grasp at more surveillance, and I think it's happening now because the political environment has finally reached the point where these laws can pass.
