@nobyeni@zirk.us you may enjoy the (not so small anymore) craft shop called lil' weasel (https://www.lilweasel.com/) which is located in a gorgeous, typically parisian "passage couvert" (this one is the Passage du grand cerf). The closest métro station is Etienne Marcel on line 4.
Another good option is "la droguerie" (https://www.ladroguerie.com) which is a historical shop full of props (buttons, threads, ribbons, tools, and wool of course). It's very central, the closest métro station is Les Halles (also on line 4).
