Everything is difficult in Gaza. For Areej, the difficulty is significantly increased by the condition of her teeth. No income, no insurance, no credit. I speak often with Salma. She and her husband are grieving 9 yo twins, killed in a Gaza bombing. Due to constraints, she is not allowed to be photographed. You can imagine how difficult it is to bring in donations. She has no income, little hope, and her husband is harsh. They live in brutal conditions in a tent on the beach. She's slowly starving. Please consider helping her. She needs regular donations.

That he has the opportunity to feel safe enough to be a child is due to the devotion and protection of his parents. Unfortunately, they both suffer with severe chronic pain. Hussam wrote a post today about lacking clothing and the rest of his school supplies. Not every child there has as little as Hussam. Those in the camps are much more likely to get aid from the big orgs. But not every family in a tent is in a camp. These people often only receive mutual aid. They struggle to buy food and drink, and it follows that they struggle to buy anything else. (1/8)

We've reached the end of another month and Neveen's rent is due. With her husband's dental issues this last week, she hasn't been able to save up the rent money. She also has another $400 to go on the dental bill. His final treatment will be today and fortunately he's feeling better. We have about another month or so to cover the dental bill, but two days to cover the rent. They'll need $200, easily raised if people pitch in.
