I have been, and to this day remain, a huge LLM skeptic. I don't think it's coming for all the jobs. I think people will outsource decision-making to it and it will make really dumb choices more often than not, and it certainly isn't going to cure cancer or FTL transport
But the nature of my work means I need to try it out and learn about it and even be able to implement and manage it. I've started a side project vibe coding a little app and on the coding/app dev side of things it is scary good
Microsoft Quality

The Artemis II mission has been in space like 3 hours and the toilet is already clogged
I try to keep work separate from my internet life, but I'm hiring and want to put the word out far and wide. If you're in Atlanta (this is a primarily on-site role w/a lot of flexibility day to day) and have strong Azure, Github, and cloud security chops I'm hiring a Sr Devops Engineer
This is for the internal tech team for a real estate management company, not SaaS or public product facing. If this sounds at all interesting please @ me
On this note cable TV is not dead. Disney Jr. basically runs Bluey 24/7 so linear TV as an HA/DR strategy is working out
Disney+ is being flakey this morning and I wonder if the SRE team at Disney realizes their importance to society. Probably up there with nuclear weapon security teams in criticality
