We will be performing upgrades on our cloud servers on March 5th, 2026 from 20:00 UTC til March 6th 03:00 UTC. During this time all services (wikis, images, Phorge, etc.) will be completely unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please note that starting tomorrow, December 19th and lasting until January 5th, most deployments will be suspended for the holidays and the tech team may have limited availability (apart from emergencies). Low risk tasks may still be worked on, but generally you should expect that response times will be slower than normal.

Miraheze will be conducting maintenance on the database servers on January 20, 2026 from 19:00 to 23:00 UTC. During that time wikis may be totally unavailable for read intermittently and all wikis may be placed in read-only at times.

Miraheze will be conducting maintenance on file storage servers on January 15, 2026 from 20:00 to 23:00 UTC. During that time, files may be intermittently unavailable and you may be unable to upload or delete files.

We are currently performing necessary maintenance on our file servers. As a result all file-related services are unavailable. (This includes backups, Images, etc). We hope to have everything restored soon. We thank you for your understanding, and appreciate your patience.

Services are now restored. We have determined that this outage was caused by one of our upstream service providers.

We are aware that wikis are currently extremely slow to load, if not completely inaccessible. Our team is working to get services restored ASAP. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Miraheze will be upgrading all wikis to MediaWiki 1.43 on Monday, January 27th at 18:00 UTC. This is expected to take approximately one hour and end at 19:00 UTC. During this window there may be intermittent downtime, but edits will be possible. Thank you for your understanding!

On Monday June 23rd, we will be conducting a hardware repair on one of our hypervisors (cloud15) which will require a full shutdown of the server. This will begin at 18:30 UTC and last around 90 minutes until 20:00 UTC. This will involve a full outage of all wikis on db151/c1 and editing, viewing files and account logins will be unstable on all other wikis.

We will be performing maintenance on our servers again on March 1st, 2025 from 18:45 until 20:45 UTC for hardware upgrades. We expect intermittent outages, so we highly recommend that you save your edits before then. We thank you for your understanding and appreciate your patience.
