mastodon 4.7.2I am an emeritus professor of communication and media, living in South Dakota.
A colleague and I podcast about new Star Trek and we use a different Mastodon profile to promote that podcast.
The current focus of this account is for interaction with Star Trek fans going beyond the podcast profile, such as the #AllStarTrek conversation about Star Trek on Heroes and Icons TV. Maybe a few other things, too, but not political stuff.
One week from today, we're podcasting about the controversial first J. J. Abrams "Star Trek" movie
Take a fresh watch yourself and plan to join us.
(Lots of people are also catching up on our past podcasts, waiting for new Star Trek.)
On Spotify alone, our podcast goes to 13 countries, and probably many more via other platforms.
