On a classic Mac nostalgia kick, aiming to make things more accessible with the Infinite Mac project.
I’d spotted a few “Infinite HDs” lurking in screenshots in David Pogue’s _Apple: The First 50 Years_ - it was great to see this callout at the end.
The nice thing about making your own weather app is that you can make features just for yourself. I'd always wanted to know every morning if work (nominally 45 miles away, but an entirely different climate) had different weather, and now I can.

Two new tools on https://www.streamspigot.com/:
- Sky Feeder generates a feed of your Bluesky timeline
- Tweeter Feeder generates per-account feeds for that other site
Together with the existing Masto Feeder tool, this lets me follow everything in my feed reader, continuing to allow me pretend to live in 2011.

I’ve expanded Infinite Mac to cover NeXT operating systems, with the help of the Previous emulator. And to keep things in the #MARCHintosh spirit, you can use the Daydream/Darkmatter emulator to run System 7 on the emulated NeXT hardware and so have a replica of one of the more esoteric combos of the early 90s.

@codingpanic@mastodon.social I’ve been making some progress on getting Snow running (https://github.com/mihaip/infinite-mac/issues/437), and there’s hope that it will be able to run A/UX eventually.
