At the risk of alienating the few people who still tolerate me, this is a toot about how much I really, really like chunky shoes.

This is what I can only describe as HEROINEScore, and it’s not even that great, but that whole look the group is going for makes me go crazy. I love it, I am so happy the Incest Twins from Gavv have had such a profound impact on popular culture. https://song.link/y/JGmZBEk_qMA

It's real, guys. We're living in the real world.
Just listening to Kibouteki Refrain gives me so much strength.
Kvlt.
Whoever made the decision that Princess Bubblegum should definitely have an ojou-sama voice… you have my thanks. https://youtu.be/lcHyYhPv_-k

@ryan you should run this as a double bill with my childhood nightmares as this film really scared me as a kid!

@vortiwife@retro.pizza I KNOW RIGHT. The moment she started speaking, I was like, oh, that's actually perfect.

@vortiwife@retro.pizza I'm so excited for it. I have to stop myself from telling people "Hey, this is the series I was reading when my beloved cat was dying" because that doesn't sound like a recommendation but it's part of why the tone and feel of it mean so much to me.

@vortiwife@retro.pizza i think because i was at the lowest point I had been in a long time, and it's been a few years now, the hurt is kind of comforting. tl;dr I probably should have some kind of therapy, lol.

@jemmesedi AKB is really an institution of the past much as it pains me to say.

@jemmesedi oh thank you nonetheless. I find stuff like this fascinating, kind of affirming as to how =LOVE stand in all this, but also a bit sad because I feel old as AKB didn't even get a mention, haha.

I'm so stupidly excited for this adaptation.

@vortiwife@retro.pizza oh! I realise he's the kid who plays Ishinomori in the Saber film. As the internet's only Ishinomori/Mei shipper, this series will be even more uncomfortable for me, I love it already.

@vortiwife@retro.pizza it's vulgar and poignant, so I really hope you enjoy it.
