Software Engineer, Maker, Tiny House builder, artist, hiker, gamer. I have far too many interests to list them all!

Not wasting any time in the enshitification process are they?
It's darn near impossible for me to not feel like the #maker community will lose as a result of this. I mean American companies buy things then insist they make a profit..it's how they work. In the long run it's hard to be optimistic, go on prove me wrong Qualcomm.. https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2025/10/arduino-retains-its-brand-and-mission-following-acquisition-by-qualcomm/
I had a feeling this was going to be the result of Google "protecting" everyone with the developer registration plan... Another door will close

Disappointing to see that some groups will jump on any lame excuse to ban someone from having an opinion, and it's not like HOPE promoted this, it was literally one table and a zine amongst other information. A 'university' that doesn't allow for a healthy debate isn't promoting learning and isn't a university in my mind.
I know it was hard to find a good home but I am hopeful that 2600 will find a new place for next year.
