It’s been quite a while since I last had This Week’s Hot Wax. So, I was just putting my records from last weekend back on the shelf when this one caught my eye. I haven’t listened to it for quite some time.

🔥This Week’s Hot Wax🔥
Artist: Koto
Release: Dragon's Legend
Label / Year: Memory, 1988

I’m currently working on my special episode, Thirteen Disco Dubs. I’m digging in the shelves through some disco dub versions and listening to them. That’s how I came across this italo-disco tune. I really like the interplay of the synth parts:

Chosen, well, obviously the dub version:

I’ve been subscribing to SynMag for quite some time now, and they’ve just run a competition. I thought I’d give it a go, and bang – I’ve won the Mackie CR-3.5. I can’t even remember the last time I entered a competition and actually won. Never before – that’s brilliant. Thanks, SynMag!

I’ve recorded a new mix, just went through the shelf or rather the box and picked out some records on the spur of the moment. Some I fancied for you, and others that were new. I really love the Deadbeat track and hope you enjoy it too. There are also other great ones or rather, they’re all great, check it out here:
