@greene @roguefoam definitely worth trying to contact your favourite Kindle-only authors to ask if they'll consider going wide with other distributors. Many indie authors hear that exclusive with Kindle is the way to go and are unaware just how much this can restrict readers.

@mina @hannes99 @vmexell damals standen auch Entlastungszüge bereit, um nach bedarf einzuspringen. Oft erlebt, wie ein N-Zug vollgepackt vor der Nase wegfuhr, um dann 10 Minuten später ein Zug abgerockte Silberlinge einfahren zu sehen, um die ganze Schönes Wochenende Leute weg zu bringen.

RE: https://mstdn.social/@VCDeV/116437123207696307 (3/2) If anyone's interested in Weds' entry, it refers to the #DeutschlandTicket, a monthly ticket, (originally 9€, now over 60€) allowing unlimited travel on local transport (incl. regional trains). According to @VCDeV@mstdn.social this ticket is used by 14.5m people and it led to 2.5m tonnes of CO2 savings in 2024. So of course the conservative government don't like it and would rather spend money on subsidising fuel for car drivers.
