@hassmeister Schade, Geoblocking lässt sich damit wohl nicht umgehen. Den VPN Exit kann man in der kostenfreien Variante nicht manuell wählen und man verbleibt ähnlich wie bei iCloud Private Relay in der gleichen Region. Daher verweise ich hier auf den VPN in Opera, bei dem man nach Nordamerika getunnelt wird. Wenn man gewissen Anforderungen an Latenz, Bandbreite, etc. hat, würde ich Mullvad erwägen.

Apple Passwords will happily loose a login and not offer any recovery option.
This bug seems to revolve around the automatic merger of two logins when both have a common TLD, but distinct subdomain. Also you have to change how one of the logins is shared through iCloud. I am not interested in reproducing it.
I almost lost the second factor on of the accounts. Luckily I had a Time Machine backup of the database.
Debugging distributed systems is hard. But this is entirely unacceptable.

@leyrer@23.social interestingly ISO 8601 does not cover dates without a year (any more). In the year 2000 version, it would have been --07-14. Might work for computers, but seems rather unusable for humans.
