Wait what, you can't use a *code* editor when you're under 18 now? 🤔

@amberage@eldritch.cafe @kelset@mastodon.online yeah, which is fair enough. I think their email used unfortunate wording where it doesn't specify just a part of Zed is 18+. Their blog post does a better job: "Age requirement. You must be 18 or older to use Zed’s AI-enabled software-as-a-service offering (the “Service")."

I'm giving a workshop at SwiftRockies in Calgary this July! 🎉
It's about scaling Swift projects — the kind of thing most teams only think about once build times are already painful and tests are flaky. The workshop on July 24th covers the tools and patterns to keep you (and your agents) productive as your codebase grows.
Tickets are live now, and grabbing a workshop spot gets you $100 off the main conference too

@mattiem@mastodon.social @jasonhowlin@mastodon.social @nerius@mastodon.online That sucks. And as long as Swift is still steered by Apple, Swift should be considered theirs. I'd love for the language to become more independent, but I don't see Apple completely giving away control.

@mitsuhiko some of the points made, like local reasoning, align nicely with this post from Jose Valím on why agents are good with Elixir: https://dashbit.co/blog/why-elixir-best-language-for-ai
Certainly also aligns with my experience.

@ellie@hachyderm.io Hetzner is the way. So much bang for the buck (and really stable).
