@jamesthomson@mastodon.social It is depressing, I think some of it is management push, I think most of it is FOMO. Developers have always had this unique personality, they have to be seen as early adopters, innovators, and I think pontificating about how good they are at using AI, is just that. Just look at LinkedIn.

@cap_ybarra are you changing emails everywhere? I had that goal, but now I use fastmail for anything new, and Gmail is legacy stuff. Which leads to some head scratching when logging in to an account that uses email as the username. Thank goodness for a password manager
