Mapterhorn Terrain v0.0.11 brings a data update for parts of Switzerland, a new 25 cm source for the Swiss Canton of Zürich, and a new 10 m source for Israel.

Public television broadcasters ORF from Austria and SVT from Sweden are now using Mapterhorn Global Terrain on their news websites. Great to see adoption by journalists!

Mapterhorn v0.0.6 brings 1 m resolution for all of Austria using Lidar data from the Federal Office of Metrology and Surveying (BEV). Mapterhorn v0.0.10 includes improved 5 m terrain data for Lombardia, Trentino, and Piemonte in Italy, 10 m in Rwanda, and fixes some artifacts in Scotland, UK.

Cyprus, Greenland, Faroe, Iceland, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, Svalbard, Portugal, Madeira, Spain, England, Scotland, Wales, and the United States are now included in Mapterhorn v0.0.7.

Version 0.0.3 brings high-resolution data for Austria. Country-wide 10 m data is used, on top of which higher resolution data was layered: 5 m for Burgenland, 1 m or better for Salzburg, Oberösterreich, and Kärnten.

The planet size increased by 40 percent because the vertical rounding was made less aggressive to avoid some step artifacts.

Mapterhorn v0.0.2 ships smaller tiles that are optimized for size while keeping the same visual quality, missing data in Caucasus and polar regions were added, and you can now use the pmtiles cli tool to make small area extracts.
