We all benefit as the ecosystem of open reviews grows! Most of @lib_reviews@fosstodon.org data is now accessible in the Mangrove Reviews Standard via the API: https://docs.mangrove.reviews/

Reviews were translated on the best effort basis and are available under the same license: CC-BY-SA-4.0

All applications using Mangrove Reviews Standard can now display them. https://open-reviews.net/about/ecosystem/

Two new important extensions to the Mangrove Review Standard have just landed:

1. `osm_id` is now in the documentation to make it easier to work with OpenStreetMap and Mangrove Reviews data.
2. `license` is now an optional field which allows for the reviews to be submitted under `CC-BY-SA-4.0` license instead of the default `CC-BY-4.0`. This allow for even more reviews to flow into the open dataset.

As the number of reviews grows, we will keep making sure to remove any bottlenecks. First small one was that it was not possible to download all reviews at once from the API, now there is a new http://api.mangrove.reviews/dump endpoint which fetches the complete daily backup of the reviews (available in all supported formats): https://docs.mangrove.reviews/#tag/Dump/operation/get_latest_dump

Pull request with a read-only reviews integration into OsmAnd mobile app is open and feedback from maintainers is welcome: https://github.com/osmandapp/OsmAnd/pull/23874

https://inspect.mangrove.reviews is a new tool for developers that should make it easier to understand and integrate Mangrove Reviews!

Would it not be great to have a mobile app with open reviews integrated? To get things going we have developed some ideas for a mobile design. We have Figma files available if anyone is interested!

The backlog of bugs has been pretty much cleared! Each review now undergoes a stricter validation against the scheme as it is being submitted to make sure that the dataset is well formed. Servers are now running a new Axum-based implementation, which should make future improvements easier! Implementation can be found here: https://gitlab.com/open-reviews/mangrove/-/tree/master/servers

https://api.mangrove.reviews/ is being upgraded now to server based on latest stable Rust, short downtime is expected.
