This interview with Matt Johnson and Jared Raab about "Nirvana the Band the Show the Movie" is really a thrill for many reasons, not least that he mentions a thought from Penn or Teller that I think about all the time, "magic is just someone spending more time on something than any reasonable person would expect."
i didn't know you could make a movie like this
If you're looking for a cheap and simple embossing label maker, I recommend the Motex E-202, NOT the Dymo Organizer Express. My Dymo embossing label maker frequently didn't create great impressions, was very finicky, and just stopped working within a year. The Motex one not only has a better action and works more consistently, it also embosses more clearly and comes with a second wheel with lowercase characters.

Just from glancing at some of these charts this two million year period was marked by an increase in global temperatures by about 8 degrees Celsius. (We've managed about 1.5 all on our own just in the last 150 years.)
The son of all-time-great film composer John Williams is the current lead vocalist for Toto. He was also Simba's singing voice in "The Lion King" and wrote the lyrics (somehow) to the song "Lapti Nek" from "Return of the Jedi."
Perfect, no notes.

Sent a ticket to the creator of the package saying "I've hit an undeletable Apex trigger" and they've sent back the instructions "you should go to settings, find the trigger, and delete it." Frustrating! That's certainly the first thing I tried!

Hitting an undeletable Apex trigger, we're having fun

It's done this fun thing where when I tried to uninstall this package, it sent me to a page listing all the errors resulting from things depending on things in the package. So I deleted all those and this time it actually queued the uninstall, but the uninstall failed and it sent me an email with a new list of dependency issues. So I manually took care of those and tried again, and it sent me ANOTHER email with DIFFERENT dependency issues it apparently couldn't identify the first time.

@ranjit@friend.camp very good instincts! the issue is it unfortunately IS good at a huge amount of what it does, it's just extremely complicated and annoying. we moved away from this particular expensive package because people kept getting annoyed at how thorny and complex it was, but now that we're off it I constantly have to say "we can't do [very useful thing we used to be able to do] anymore because that was something the expensive package let us do."

@whoisgina@friend.camp I know I think it's because it's traced from Trump so he looks like a rumpled napkin

If you had to guess how many runways the busiest airport in the world (Atlanta) has, how many would you guess?
