I love creating things inspired by my work, and the response to my digital preservation jumpers has been amazing! 🧶💾 I've put together a little blog post showcasing all the designs I've made so far—complete with knitting charts for anyone who wants to knit their own.

Happy World Digital Preservation Day everyone!!
I have two exciting things to share:
- A feature on the Cambridge University Library pages about the Future Nostalgia Project -- https://www.lib.cam.ac.uk/stories/floppy-disk-funding
- A @dpc_chat@digipres.club blog for #WDPD2024 with Justine Provino on the Agrippa Project -- https://www.dpconline.org/blog/wdpd/blog-provino-talboom-wdpd2024
My colleague Chris over at Churchill Archives Centre has acquired an 8-inch drive! However, we are both a bit baffled by the connection on it. It seems to have come from an IBM AS/400 server. Does anyone have any further information? Also, it seems that it has a different connection than the original 50-pin connection, is this correct (looks like maybe SCSI??)? Any leads would be much appreciated!!
Digipres friends are the best friends! Lotte got me the perfect tree decoration 🎄💾🎄
The article I wrote with Andrea Kocsis has been published! It is part of the 'Amplifying GLAM Collections' special collection and highlights the work that we did around preparing the websites from the Archive of Tomorrow project as a dataset for computational use and also the great work that Andrea did as a Cambridge Digital Humanities Fellow!
