you might recall at the end of 2022 i had a huge elaborate post with a reflection on the year, and a detailed list of goals for 2023.

for 2024, i don't have such a thing. and instead, my goal this year is very simple:

to be at peace with just existing.

so, wow. a lot of things have happened. the good, the bad, and the weird. but net good, i'd say.

during this time i've been more active on cohost. i've basically abandoned the now fabled birdsite apart from the occasional markety post (doesn't feel great).

anyway, i miss being here!

hi, it has been a while. perhaps i should post here again

not sure how many times i've already said this, but i should start posting here again.. "really" really this time? we'll see

talked to my dad briefly about a growing desire to go back into the vehicle dwelling lifestyle, except doing it in Australia. i have a much better support system there in terms of whose driveway i can park in & work on it, and family & friends of family who would help with construction & fitting. then i can focus on the electrical & battery, water systems lol

other than that i've been doing some vgm composing, some rom hacking work, and working on my album...
feeling less burnt out, and less like life and self care are totally in shambles lol

also i'm looking for vgm & game dev contract work. i suppose i'll post more details later

after basically doing nothing but playing xenoblade 3 for 4 months i switched over to ffxiv lol

i never actually shutdown the maddie.rocks instance and low key if i have been paying for it i kinda wanna go back to it
