found out they usually just switch out a board for a few hundred bucks. sometimes they can fix the board. usually don't bother. let specialists fix boards. disposable parts. tedious work repairing them. dozens of screws and tiny parts. last I looked there were separate boards inside; audio, video. the cheaper models have fewer boards. all-in-one whole system.
