The artwork for Pixel’s new mathrock electrosynth album, entitled “Who took my beans?”
Coming soon.
Might need to print this off and frame it above my desk… whuttaday :neofox_googly:
I haven’t really goofed today.
Here. Take this :neofox_shy:
Noticing a lot of adverts for consumer electronics are no longer highlighting any kind of AI feature, nor using the initialism “AI” in any part (not even the footnotes). Doesn’t mean it’s not there, but the silence is loud… ![]()
People have *always* said that it’s time for an uptick in TB, diphtheria, typhoid, E. coli, Salmonella, and streptococcal infections.
Last night in one of the corners of our garden. Summer’s nearly here :neofox_bongo:

My friend.
My dude.
My snowflake in christ.
Just get your completely platonic guy friends (with whom you exchange dick pics for ‘research purposes’ and not because you get Tingle Feelings [tsk tsk]) to kick you in the nads and voilà! Testicular torsion!
Considering changing my default unit of measurement for all measurable things to “punnet.”
Currently trying out a recipe for chocolate brownie cookies and they’re either going to turn out Aussiebums-moisteningly amazing or as flat and hard as a witch’s.
“The time will pass anyway” has entered my lexicon this past month and has grounded me in ways I never thought possible.
Worry about it or don’t.
Do it or don’t.
Enjoy it or don’t.
The time will pass anyway.
Two linguistic shifts I’ve noticed appearing in British English:
- “There is” and “There’s” being used in front of singular and plural referents (“There’s loads of them” instead of “There are loads of them”).
- Use of “a” as the indefinite article in front of words that begin with consonants or vowels, often pronounced as /æ/ or /ə/ in the former cases, and /eɪ/ in the latter cases (“A exciting moment”).
Whether you see the above as an issue or as an insight will be telling :neofox_thonk:
All of my meetings today have involved people I’ve never met before named Max so I can safely assume I’m Maxmaxxing today.
Currently experiencing that wave of sleepiness that has you thinking “am I just super tired or am I coming down with something?” :neofox_googly_shocked:
Me, just now, out loud, to myself: “You need to finish this assignment draft this evening. You’re nearly there. It won’t take much longer. Just concentrate.”
My brain:
This morning is when 15/16-year-old students across the country will sit the English Literature GCSE examination.
*All* I can remember from taking that course over 20 years ago is the name “Banquo.”
If you were told that there was a northerly wind, how would you interpret this?
(And none of those “bwuhhhh ACKSHUALLY the Dictionary™️ says…” responses to this, shall we? I’m after YOUR interpretation :neofox_bongo: )
I’m doing the exercise. I’m getting the hydration. I’m eating the foods. I’m finding the time to rest.
So what, pray-fuckin’-tell, is with all this “waking up with a headache” nonsense?
Going to the local fast food establishment and ordering one serving of Bosporous Strait.
iOS nerds: I’m seeing conflicting reports on the safety of iOS18 and the sudden need to upgrade to Liquid Ass due to a pretty hefty security vulnerability.
So - do I need to bite the “we tried to go back to Frutiger Aero but spaffed away our chance at doing it successfully” bullet? :neofox_thonk:
Watching Jahara Jayde exceed 1,000 Twitch subscribers in quick succession and live was an unexpectedly heartwarming moment :neofox_heart:
To optionally paraphrase Natasha Beddingfield: “I’ve got a pocket, got a pocket full of…”
