@gettie@fedi.catto.garden oh it was horrible. when i was 16 i ran raw ALSA for about a year with apulse for discord audio because pulseaudio was so unpredictable

@gettie@fedi.catto.garden i "love" pipewire (it's not pulseaudio) but i have had it just not work from time to time. very finnicky. still better than being laughed at in voice chat for sounding like an evil robot and not being able to to anything about it

also pipewire blew up in my face when i tried it but that's fine, at least sndio works. thank you sndio i love you sndio <3
