My wife is a contractor for a US government agency. (Not mentioning which one out of fear of her getting fired.) Eavesdropped on an all-hands meeting, & I’m hearing evidence that the Federal government is being managed just as Musk managed Twitter/X/his soap box. The agency was told to fire every person still in their probationary period. This is on top of people leaving due to the offered buy-out. A bunch of children breaking their new toys just because they can!

My wife is a contractor at the Department of Energy. She has the introductory speech of the Trump pick for secretary of the DoE on her computer, & I can hear him across the room. I never heard of him before this moment.

The guy sounds like a used car salesman who has never driven a car in his life, but read a book about cars once.

Just wanted to boast to someone about one of my kids.

My youngest daughter, who wants to be a boy, who has been a long-time discipline/emotional problem (she was kicked out of one kindergarten & several after-school care programs), taught herself how to swim! She was showing me all this this afternoon in the hotel pool.

Some may misread how I wrote the above, but I am sincerely proud that she accomplished this. I see great potential in her.
