The names we use for objects in medieval book studies really do sound like they've come directly from a fantasy novel:

I'm glad finally to be able to share the link to my finished project eManuSkript: https://emanuskript.vercel.app/.

This is a suite of tools for teaching and learning digital #palaeography and #codicology as applied to #western Latin #manuscripts. The website includes 4 multi-use apps, and 4 supporting information packages, as well as a large searchable bibliography. Our code and text is available on GitHub under a CC BY-NC licence.

A few bugs remain but they will be cleared in the next 2 weeks!

Am on Malta, but instead of visiting UNESCO sites, I am spending my days in an abattoir making #parchment. This lovely goatskin is finally finished, after two days of hard and stinky labour. The sheepskin is next!

I'm going to have TWO full-time one-year #postdocs available from 1 April: one for a historian with knowledge of #medieval Latin #palaeography, one for a computer scientist/#programmer (or someone else with a proven ability to code software). What’s the latest on #BiDi scripts? Am looking for an up to date resource or set of resources to put together an introductory lecture for a course on #Persian #manuscripts this summer. My knowledge is now a few years behind.
